Miss Asia

Asia is said to have some of the most beautiful women in the world—exotic, mysterious and very alluring. While the beauty of each Asian country is distinct what can be said about most of them is that they are beautiful and very warm people. Competitions which involve Asian women are bound to be filled with gracious and warm beauties from the Asian region.

There are two known Miss Asia competitions. The underlying difference between the both of them is that they are run by different organizing outfits, but deep down they are showcase and aim for the same thing: representation and a celebration of the Asian culture.

The Miss Asia Pacific International is the first and the oldest beauty pageant competition in Asia. It has countries from Asia as well as other countries which lie in the pacific. On the other hand, another pageant which has the same concept is the Miss Asia pageant which features women from the Asian region. Countries such as Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Philippines, India, Lebanon, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and, of course, Japan send their beautiful ladies to compete in the said beauty pageant. These competitions are to boost the tourism of the individual countries who participate in the said competition.
